Thats what a new tailight for the 2015 F150 will run you.

Wonder how much of that is the integrated radar. How much cheaper do you think the regular tail lights are?
Or is radar standard on the F-150 now?

If it is, we will have to forgo using dollars to quantify F150 replacement parts and use LeMons Race Car (LRC) units instead

Why are people acting like this is surprising?
A 2015 Mustang rear tail light is 1679 bucks.

Yeah, don't back into anything and hope whoever rear ends you has more than the state minimums.

Radar in the tail lights? What?
*edit* I looked it up. I have a feeling it is ultra sonic, and not radar, because radar would be kind of a waste.
via ford media:
Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert Available BLIS ® uses radar sensors in the taillamps to monitor areas that may not be visible to the driver. The sensors trigger a warning light in the sideview mirrors to indicate another vehicle is in a blind spot if the driver is attempting to change lanes. These same sensors can also detect a vehicle coming down an aisle when the driver is slowly backing out of a parking space

I HATE THOSE!! Everyone and their mother's secret mistress where I live is littering their headlights with LEDs like what an Audi has. Only It looks good when Audi does it. It's chintzy as fuck with those ugly light strips plastered on when every other car everywhere has it. ARGH!

Haha I kind of just meant these:
I agree 100% about the cheesey ass LED's though.
I'm sorry you're 2004 Pontiac did NOT come with LED running lights. but that rope light you bought at the dollar store doesn't look better.
